On November 15, 2023, Associate Jermaine Brookshire, Jr. will present on a panel at the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s business expo, “The Big Connect.”

The Big Connect is a day-long conference offering attendees insightful professional development workshops, engagement with the shakers and movers in Connecticut’s business community, and networking opportunities entirely for free.

Jermaine and other panelists will present a session entitled, “Diversifying Nonprofit & For-Profit Boards: Strategies for Inclusive Leadership” where they will provide valuable insights and practical strategies for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion at the highest levels of any organization through discussions of the business case for diversity, challenges and barriers around implementation, case studies and success stories, and methods for measuring progress. The session will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the College Room at the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale.
