Corporate and Health Care Associate Jermaine Brookshire Jr. has been recognized among the Top 40 Under 40 by The National Black Lawyers for the state of Connecticut. Membership in The National Black Lawyers, which is based on current member referrals and independent research, is by invitation only. The “Top 40 Under 40” recognition is bestowed upon Black lawyers in each state or region who have earned reputations for excellence in their respective practice areas.

Jermaine frequently advises startups and emerging growth companies on a broad range of corporate transactions, including venture capital and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, governance and general corporate matters. Jermaine works extensively with entrepreneurs to establish the business structure of their startups with an eye towards ensuring that they are appropriately structured, scalable, and positioned for growth. Jermaine also works on health care-specific corporate transactions and he counsels clients on accredited investor compliance.
