No one ever regrets hiring the right lawyer.
Mark Heaphy has decades of experience advising on all aspects of technology, sourcing and procurement transactions, from initial RFP through implementation, go-live, and beyond. Global service providers rely on Mark’s expertise to help them structure, negotiate, and document domestic, near-shore and offshore outsourcing and technology-related strategies in North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Mark also counsels clients with respect to data privacy and security issues, including the development and implementation of privacy compliance plans.
Sometimes operating as an extension of a client’s in-house legal group, and other times as their complete legal function, in all cases, Mark and his team approach a company’s legal challenges with a pragmatic, business-minded perspective.
Mark enjoys working with young, technology-driven companies, finding the new and sometimes unique legal issues interesting, always requiring flexibility and creativity.
A global traveler, Mark has visited more than 50 countries. He is blind since age 12, and all his Seeing Eye dogs have been frequent flyers, traveling extensively for both work and pleasure. He has three children and a yellow lab named Sparky, and is interested in Nihonto and other hand-forged knives and swords.
