Working to achieve practical solutions to complex problems on fair terms for all parties involved.

Jack Sousa is a wiggin(x) co-founder and partner, co-chair of Wiggin’s ECVC and Cannabis practice groups, and a partner in our corporate department. Jack developed this focus over years of representing all sides of early-stage investments, from startups, to founders, to investors. Jack understands the give and take among the various interests and positions involved. In his practice he emphasizes distilling down issues and creating practical solutions to them. Jack’s focus on the intersection of business and law draws from his personal experiences of building and managing a boutique law firm for over five years before bringing that practice into Wiggin and Dana.

Jack loves the collaborative nature of his work, where he brings people and resources together to build the foundation of business relationships, setting them up to maximize their potentials for success as they seek to grow their collective plans and visions for future opportunities.

Jack is co-chair of Wiggin’s DRIVE Caregiving initiative and volunteers as the president of New Canaan Youth Softball and the president of the New Canaan Men’s Platform Tennis League. He spends the rest of his free time enjoying the company of his wife, Laura, twin daughters, Charlotte and Eleanor, and son, Teddy.
